Naples, July 15, 2025 — Napoli have reached a full verbal agreement with Udinese to sign Italian striker Lorenzo Lucca, with the deal now confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The move is set to go through later this week, marking a major addition to Napoli’s attacking line.

According to Romano, the transfer will be structured as a loan with an obligation to buy, with Napoli paying a €9 million loan fee upfront and committing to a €26 million purchase clause, including additional performance-based bonuses. The total package could rise beyond €35 million, depending on add-ons.

Lucca will sign a five-year contract with Napoli, keeping him at the club until 2030. The 24-year-old is expected to undergo medical examinations and sign the final paperwork later this week before being officially unveiled.

“Lorenzo Lucca to Napoli, here we go! Verbal agreement in place with Udinese — €9m loan fee plus €26m obligation to buy with add-ons. Five-year contract to be signed this week,” reported Fabrizio Romano via his official channels.

The towering forward enjoyed an impressive spell at Udinese, showcasing his physical dominance, aerial strength, and improved technical ability. His rise has drawn attention from several Serie A clubs, but Napoli have moved swiftly to secure his signature.

Lucca’s arrival comes as part of Napoli’s plan to bolster their frontline following recent squad changes and to provide manager Antonio Conte with a reliable presence up front for the upcoming season.

With the agreement now finalized and the signature imminent, Napoli fans can look forward to welcoming one of Italy’s most promising strikers to the club.
