Milan, August 1 – Crystal Palace have seen their €32 million bid for Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck turned down, with the Italian giants holding out for at least €40 million, sources have confirmed.
The 24-year-old German centre-back has emerged as a key target for Palace, who are preparing for life without club captain Marc Guehi. The England international has attracted serious interest this summer, and Palace are proactively lining up potential replacements.
Bisseck, who joined Inter in 2023 from Aarhus, has impressed during his time in Serie A, particularly with his ability to operate in a back three. His composure on the ball and tactical awareness have caught the attention of Palace scouts, who view him as a strong fit for Oliver Glasner’s defensive setup.
Inter, however, are in no rush to sell. The Nerazzurri see Bisseck as a valuable squad option and have set a firm asking price, rejecting Palace’s opening offer without entering negotiations.
Palace are now weighing their options, with it unclear whether they will return with an improved bid or pursue alternative targets. The South London club are determined to strengthen their backline ahead of the new Premier League season and are likely to remain active in the market in the coming weeks.
