Manchester, July 17, 2025 — RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško is open to joining Manchester United, even though the club will not be playing European football next season, according to journalist Sam C (GiveMeSport).
United have been tracking the 23-year-old forward for over three years and are now actively weighing up a move. Šeško’s willingness to consider the transfer is seen as a boost for United, who are operating under tighter financial conditions this summer.
Sources indicate that the club has been transparent with potential new signings, stating that sales must happen before significant purchases can be made. Despite that, interest in Šeško remains genuine — and he’s viewed as a long-term attacking option with the physical and technical profile to thrive in the Premier League.
Arsenal have also shown interest and held talks recently, but those discussions were described as “complicated,” and the Gunners are currently not in active negotiations.
Meanwhile, Manchester United submitted a fresh bid today for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, in what is being treated as a separate deal from their pursuit of Šeško.
As things stand, United’s attacking plans are taking shape — but their ability to finalize deals may depend on how quickly they can move players out.
