Alexander Isak Shows No Interest in Saudi Arabia Move Amid Transfer Interest

Share

Newcastle, July 25 – Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is showing no interest in a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of the transfer window, despite potential interest from clubs in the region.

Sources close to the player indicate that the 25-year-old Sweden international remains fully focused on his career in European football and is not currently entertaining proposals from the Saudi Pro League. While Saudi clubs have expressed admiration for Isak’s talents, no formal negotiations are believed to be underway due to the player’s lack of interest.

Isak, who joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022, has become a key figure under Eddie Howe and remains one of the most highly regarded forwards in the Premier League. Although his future has been the subject of speculation amid ongoing interest from top European clubs, a move to the Middle East appears unlikely at this point.

Newcastle are also keen to retain Isak and have been exploring a new contract, though no agreement has been reached amid concerns over wage demands. As things stand, the Magpies consider him a central part of their project heading into the 2025–26 campaign.
