Manchester, July 20, 2025 — Bryan Mbeumo is set to complete the second part of his medical at Manchester United today, as his move from Brentford nears full completion, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year-old forward will report to Carrington, United’s training base, where he will undergo the final tests, carry out media duties, and officially sign his contract with the club. The transfer, agreed earlier this week, is structured around a £65 million guaranteed fee, with up to £6 million in add-ons, taking the total potential value to £71 million.
Mbeumo chose United as his preferred destination amid interest from other Premier League clubs, with personal terms agreed swiftly following the club-to-club agreement.
Once paperwork and formalities are complete, Mbeumo will become United’s second major signing of the summer.
An official club announcement is expected later today or tomorrow.
